The Human Recovery Lab was created to provide clear, evidence-based information on recovery, sleep, supplements, and health. What you are about to read here focuses on what research and practical experience suggest is most useful for active people who train regularly. The Human Recovery Labs's Owner

I’ve been active for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I played soccer for years and years. I swam competitively in and out of school, alongside competing in athletics starting as a long-distance runner then transitioning to sprinting in school. Soccer remained a big part of my life through my mid-teens, alongside the gym, Muay Thai, and MMA.

Now at 23 with over a decade of experience in multiple facets of health and fitness, I am acutely aware of how important recovery is alongisde diet and exercise. For those curious my three exercise avenues nowadays are swimming, gym, and Muay Thai. These have given me firsthand insight into recovery, performance, and sustainable training strategies.

I created the Human Recovery Lab because there’s too much clutter, hype, and jargon on social media, and no explicit Australian resource for active Aussies who want reliable advice and not advice from overseas influencers. This site aims to cut through the noise with clear, evidence-based guidance tailored to our local aussie lifestyle.
